A bunch of dedicated volunteers met for a work party this last Saturday, and thanks to everyone's help the beds are looking terrific! It won't be long now until we start planting. We will have regular work parties the second Saturday of each month, and we welcome you to join us!

Welcome to blog for the Multnomah County Master Gardeners Learning Garden! The Learning Garden is located at the Learning Garden Laboratory in Portland, Oregon. It is a project of the Multnomah County Master Gardeners. The Oregon State University (OSU) Master Gardener Program is an OSU Extension Service program that educates Oregonians about the art and science of growing and caring for plants.
We are very excited about the Master Gardeners Learning Garden project, a local community resource teaching safe, sustainable gardening practices in the Brentwood-Darlington Neighborhood. This blog will be a great way access information about classes, demonstrations, news, recipes, photos, and more taking place at the garden. You can see we are really starting from the ground up!
